Fisheries Program has been established in 1993 within Vocational School of Technical Sciences. During academic year of 1993-1994, it started educating activity with the first students. Subsequently 2001-2002 academic year, it has begun to accept students for secondary curriculum.

Students enrolled to Fisheries Program are equipped with the knowledge on various areas of fisheries products.

 

 

During their education taking laboratory lessons, field practices, assignments and graduation projects are helpful for students to solve the problems in this area.

Our main goal is to make our students gain high knowledge and skills on the basic and practical areas of fisheries (fish farming, fishing, and processing technology e.g.)

By gaining skills on sector- specific competence, our graduates can find jobs in the market easily.
